The Atlas Rail Single Axle Drop Table is used to remove and replace wheelsets/bogies and traction motors from most rail vehicles. The table is hydraulically driven and controlled by the operator via a hand-held remote.
This simple and compact design allows for easy installation and operation while remaining robust enough to handle some of the heaviest locomotives currently in service.
With the entire hydraulic system located on the table, including the power unit, and with the ability to eliminate the control panel this helps keep the work area free of unnecessary obstacles.
Fully interlocked safety pins are incorporated into the design supporting the table in the home position when powered down. This allows other rolling stock to utilise the line when the drop table is not in use, and helps maintain a safe working environment.
